We officially have our first named storm of the hurricane season in the Gulf. The name is Don and he is a tropical storm so there is no need for anyone to worry. Besides they don't know yet where he will arrive but most likely it will be close to Corpus Christy.
He is predicted to arrive somewhere along the Texas coast sometime late Friday or early Saturday and will hopefully bring some much needed rain.

Diane, I am watching the weather reports and it does say it may not hit you direct. It will be great if our state can get some rain. My heart goes out to Chloe and Kim over the loss of Tickle Monkey. I know how it was with your special toy for ALL of your life. Glad you sent 2 more for her to choose from.Praying you will not get any storm out of Don tropical storm.
Hope you got some much needed rain with out the tropical storm. We still have not been blessed with any drops of rain. Hope Kim will show the new monkey gifts you sent to Chloe.
