20 Days 'til Christmas

This year we are trying something new.

We always decorate the front of the house with lights and the only time we see them is when we are coming or going from the house.  We did put the lights on the front but rather than putting up yard decorations in the front yard we decided to put them in the backyard.  By doing this we actually get to enjoy a little bit of Christmas cheer while we sit in the family room.

21 Days 'til Christmas

Ugh!!!  Another long road trip home.  We enjoyed our very brief visit in Amarillo but it is sure nice to get back home.

You can tell it is winter in the Texas Panhandle; crops have been harvested  and cotton has been stripped.

22 Days 'til Christmas

Today was a day of celebration. 

Our niece Molly married Jordan Anderson in a beautiful ceremony.  Congratulations to the Bride and Groom.

23 Days 'til Christmas

This day was the day of our long road trip to Amarillo for a family wedding.

Pop needed to get a quick Chloe fix so we made a quick stop in Austin to see our favorite Austinites; Kim and Chloe.  (Mark is a favorite too but he was at work)

24 Days 'til Christmas

Christmas count down has begun.  There is soooo many things to get done before the big day.

Can't believe the year has passed so quickly.
