We always decorate the front of the house with lights and the only time we see them is when we are coming or going from the house. We did put the lights on the front but rather than putting up yard decorations in the front yard we decided to put them in the backyard. By doing this we actually get to enjoy a little bit of Christmas cheer while we sit in the family room.

Cute! It totally makes more sense to decorate where you can enjoy it, I've just always been afraid the dog would eat everything!
