"Today is a day that will live in infamy"
Those famous words were spoken by President Franklin Roosevelt in a speech delivered to Congress referring to the Japanese attach on Pearl Harbour, December 7, 1941. (The speech was actually delivered on Dec. 8 but was given in reference to Dec. 7)
This day, for me, will always live in infamy... for 2 reasons.
December 7, 1941 is a day which changed our nation forever. For 4 long years our armed forces, along side many of our allies, battled to secure our nations freedom. We are a stronger nation because of the sacrifices so many men and women made.

December 7, 1988 is also a day for our family that will live in infamy.
On this day 22 years ago the Santa Fe Railroad abolished the electrical department Craig worked in and put him out of a job. For 3 long years our little family, with encouragement from others, waged our own little "battle" to secure a better future for the 4 of us.
