Eye on the Tropics

We officially have our first named storm of the hurricane season in the Gulf.  The name is Don and he is a tropical storm so there is no need for anyone to worry.  Besides they don't know yet where he will arrive but most likely it will be close to Corpus Christy.

He is predicted to arrive somewhere along the Texas coast sometime late Friday or early Saturday and will hopefully bring some much needed rain.

A Visit To The Zoo

Mark was kind enough to loan us his girls for a few days so Kim and I took advantage of the time by taking Chloe on her first visit to the zoo.  We didn't have any idea if Chloe would react to the animals or if she was a tad too young.

To our enjoyment, Chloe loved it. She would point and squeal and she even growled at the lion and oo-oo'd at the monkeys. I'm not sure who was more excited; Kim or Chloe.

On Chloe and Kim's last visit we had a whirlwind of fun.
